The success of the Monegasque Example is based not only on the Principality’s openness to the world but on the way it has cherished freedom of thought and speech, demonstrated a commitment to and responsibility for one’s compatriots – known and unknown, exhibited a respect for differences and a willingness to embrace the unfamiliar, and displayed a profound desire for peace.
